What Do Your Dreams Look Like?
Since the conception of Imagination Rendered, we have strived to achieve exactly what that name implies; bringing ideas to life visually. YOUR IDEAS! We can help you to go to the next step of making your vision become a reality using digital 3D modeling, paintings and conceptual drawings. How does this work? It depends on your need of course, but here are a few examples of the services we offer.
Digital 3D Modeling
• Digital 3D models that can become a physical object by printing it out on a 3D printer.
• 3D prototype pieces for inventors, models for decor, figurines and modeling for manufacturing.
• Reference models for artist, story boarding and conceptual designs.
• Cover Art, Cover Layout and Design.
• Digital backgrounds for film, photo and illustrations.
• Conceptual illustration.
This Matte Painting was inspired by the first book of the Tales of Airn, written by James Clinton. It is a scene based on the beaten path leaving the forest of Lindolar and leading to the Kingdom of Lindolar. Paintings like this one can be split up by the foreground, mid-ground, background, sky and clouds to animate motion using 3D and/or special effects programs in the film industry. They also look pretty awesome in a book, whether it be an e-book or a hard copy.
Digital Modeling for a 3D Print Out
In March of 2014, Imagination Rendered sculpted a 3D model for the Eisner award winning artist Dave Dorman. Using digital 3D modeling methods, we sculpted one of the characters from Dave Dorman’s Wastedlands. This 3D sculpture is one of the bad guys called the Hollowmen. It was formatted for 3D printing and the physical print of the figurine was performed by Proofx in Chicago, Illinois.
Below and to the left are conceptual illustrations by Dave Dorman. The three images below and to the right are of the digital sculpture created by Dave Taylor using Dave Dorman’s drawings as a reference.
From Concept to Completion
Not only can we build 3D models from your drawings, we can assist you by quickly producing conceptual drawings for you and then model them out almost as quickly in a 3D format. Mechanical designs, also referred to as Mech’s are one of our specialties. Below is the Px1 ATV which was conceptualized in a hand drawing and digitally colorized. Using our conceptual drawing as a reference guide, the 3D model was built and engineered, (rigged) for animation. Model's like this one can be used for film or printed out on a 3D printer. A 3D model can also be used for conceptual inspiration, a perspective reference for an illustrator and quick imaging for story boarding.
As mentioned in the segment for the Px1 ATV, we can assist you with conceptual renderings and illustrations that can be used simply to begin a creative process for review. These renderings can also be used for films, books, slide shows and the internet just to name a few. The particular works provided in this segment were created for James Clinton based on his book Tales of Airn, Book 1.
Cover Art, Design and Layout
Cover art can have a profound impact no matter what it’s used for. We use original photography from our in house photographer, original art created by our artist and/or a combination to open a presentation with the impact that you necessitate. We also provide layout and cover designs for books, music, films, games, presentations or any other use you may require.
Below are a few examples that we have created for James Clinton and D.E. Tomas.
